The NID DAT Mains Stage, also known as the Studio Test, evaluates a student’s creativity, problem-solving ability, material handling skills, and design thinking under time constraints. It is designed to assess how effectively a student can transform ideas into practical design solutions. At Dezine Quest, our course is structured to prepare students for every aspect of the Studio Test from ideation and model making to presentation and personality evaluation. With expert mentorship and hands-on training, students gain the confidence, skills, and creative mindset required to excel in the final stage of the NID selection process. |

Studio Sensitivity Test – 60% (Observation & Material Handling, Doodles and Improvisation Techniques, Creativity, Raw Ideas, Execution) In-Person Sensitivity Test – 40% (Spot Test via Video & Audio Rounds) Presentation Skills, Writing Skills, Interactive Psychometric Evaluation) This structure clearly shows that both practical creativity and personality evaluation play a crucial role in final selection. |
